I’ve been sitting down trying to plan out what I’m going to plant this summer in the garden. We’re doing the square foot garden again and I can’t wait. I’m sitting here listening to the snow outside and watching the ploughs as they go buy wishing for springtime already. Sadly winter has barely started and I’m wanting spring already…

I’m hoping to turn this into a learning experience for Zee. The thought is if she can help grow the veggies that maybe she’s eat the veggies…I know, high hopes eh! Here’s the list of things we’re hoping to plant, but please be advised that this is subject to change!

Tomatoes
Peas
String Beans
Beets
Chives
Onions
Summer Savoury (yummy in stuffing!)

I’m hoping to get in town this week-end to get some potting soil and Zee and I can start the tomato plants in the living room window soon. Hopefully I can get them to grow without having them go all stringy on me. Do you have any suggestions on how you start your seedlings?
