CardSwap

CardSwap

If you’ve been reading my blog you’ll already know that I’ve had a great experience buying a discounted gift card from CardSwap. Now I want to tell you about selling your unused gift cards. We’ve all received them, cards to stores we’ll just never ever use and what do you do with? I usually end up buying things I don’t really need or want just to use them up, now I can sell my unused gift cards to CardSwap for up to 90% of the redemption value.

I had a gift card sitting on the shelf for over a year to Indigo. I haven’t used it so I thought I’d try selling it on CardSwap to see how that process worked. Just like purchasing my card earlier, selling my card was just as easy. I did have a little confusion about which number on the card was UPC code that they were looking for, but it turns out it was just me having a “mommy moment” and when I contacted customer service they helped me out right away.

After you sell your card, you simply mail your gift card to CardSwap. Shipping is free, they give you a link so that you can print off your own mailing label that you just tape to your envelope. After your card is mailed to CardSwap they will verify the amount and then mail a cheque to you. It’s really that easy!

In order to sell your gift card, there needs to be a minimum amount of $25.00. I was able to sell my Indigo card for 82% of it’s full value! Now the question remains what will I do with my new found cash?

CardSwap is offering my readers the opportunity to win a fantastic prize of a $25.00 gift card! Entering is easy, just use the rafflecopter form below. Don’t forget to come back everyday to do the daily entry options to earn more entries! Giveaway is open to Canadian residents and closes on June 10 at 12:01 EST.
