CityGrips on my Double Stroller
I’m a creature of comfort and I like to make sure every outing is as comfortable for me as it is for my kids. I rarely take my children out without having at least one of them contained in a stroller or shopping cart. This means that I’m generally pushing a stroller around. My stroller takes all sorts of abuse, it’s tossed in the trunk, pushed through snow, has clothes hangers hanging off it at the store and a myriad of other things. The handlebars are starting to crack from all this “love”.
I was recently introduced to a new product called CityGrips. These are handlebar grip covers for your stroller These covers are wonderful, simply slip them onto your handlebars and you are ready to go. They are soft, washable and durable. I tried them on both of my strollers as well as my daughters trike, a shopping cart and on the strap of my diaper bag. Switching them from item to item was easy. They just velcro on an off. There is some wiggle room on them, so that they fit various sizes of strollers. There are also different styles available so you will be sure to find one that fits your stroller and personality to a T!

The CityGrips handlebar covers are cushioned so they comfortably cover up any cracks that might be on your bars. They also absorb the sweat making it for a much more comfortable pushing experience on hot days. I love the fact that I can use them for more than just stroller grips. When I was carrying my diaper bag that was packed just a little to full, I pulled one off and put it on the strap to pad my shoulder. The grips also help you customize the look of your stroller making it so much easier to find when you “park” it at the library.
