What a busy morning! First we had someone come in to do some un-installation work…what a mess that left! I think even I could have patched the holes in the wall better! Oh well, at least it will give hubby something to do this week-end! Then we unexpectedly took our daughter to see the twoonie special of “The Lorax” at the theatre. (more…)

Thursday…even better than it being almost Friday, it’s Flyer Day! I’m hoping to find some great deals this week. My stockpile isn’t exactly a pile any more, it’s more of a small lump that really need replenishing!

As I was making breakfast this morning I had to chuckle. It’s amazing how breakfast has changed since becoming a mom. It used to be a complete meal of bacon, eggs, toast, hashbrowns and a glass of milk, now it’s the crusts of the grilled cheese sandwich and a sip of milk from my daughters sippy cup. Oh how I miss those meals, but I wouldn’t change these days for anything…

It’s a beautiful day outside, so I’ve taken the kids outside onto the deck to play. We’re safely hidden in the bug tent from the mosquitoes and enjoying the wonderful weather. While the kids scream and fight play nicely with each other I decided to take a break from the housework and enjoy the weather too! (more…)
