I’m not a great cook, I’m not sure I even fall into the category of good but this is a recipe that even I have a hard time messing this one up!  It’s a great cheap, I mean frugal, recipe.  We made batches upon batches of this for fund raisers and of course Christmas presents! Homemade Bread

We love homemade bread at our house.  We’ve been trying to eat a little healthier at our house and bread is one spot where we’ve tried to cut out all the extra preservatives, so I’ve been making our own and experimenting with an old recipe with great results.  I swapped out the shortening with the Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil and I use baby formula instead of milk. Homemade Fries Last night after hubby came home from his hockey game he decided that “we” needed a snack.  So I decided to make homemade fries using our new Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil!  Wow!  How Yummy they turned out!     Ingredients: 2 Yellow Fleshed Potatoes Oil – (I used Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil, but olive oil works too) Directions: Preheat over to 500F.
