I can remember trying to stay up all night to catch Santa. No matter how hard I tried I always fell asleep and missed my opportunity to catch him dropping off all the presents. It was exciting to plan and set up our traps, although I was ultimately always disappointed with my lack of results.
With the help of iCaughtSanta.com parents can now help their children set the Santa trap. Have fun setting up your hidden camera and then send the children to bed…because we all know Santa only comes when we are sleeping. In the morning, the kids can check the camera to see if they caught Santa in the act!
How does it all work? Simply take a photo of your room, then go to iCaughtSanta.com and start creating your masterpiece, no graphic design skills necessary. Click the create button and it will load up the editing page. Upload your image (landscape works best), and then add your favourite Santa pose. They offer you one free pose, or you can purchase a pose pack if you prefer a different Santa. You can rotate, change the brightness and resize Santa to make him fit seamlessly into your image.
My favourite thing about the iCaughtSanta process is that it’s all digital. As soon as you finish creating your image you can download it right away and have it for Christmas morning. I just copy the image onto my camera card when I’m done and slip it back in and the kids never know.
Go to iCaughtSanta.com to start creating your own Santa image!
The supplies are simple, paint, popsicle sticks, eyes, nose and some string. For the eyes and nose we used googly eyes and a pom pom but you can use felt, construction paper or even paint. Use up those craft supplies you have on hand! Be creative and most importantly have tons of fun!
We’ve been at it again. My daughter has been hard at work making another video for you. This time we made some very simple Button Tree Ornaments.
These are so simple to make. We even put the supplies in a little baggy and she worked on them at the restaurant while we were waiting for our meal. It was really hard to let go and not make them “perfect” by ordering the buttons perfectly by size. My daughter just had fun with them and put the buttons where ever she thought that they would be “eee-mazing”, and they turned out adorable.
