Get Funky With Celery Night Fever – Review and Giveaway!

Celery Night Fever

VeggieTales has created another family favourite movie. We can always count on VeggiesTales to bring our family together on movie night with a movie that EVERYONE enjoys. Filled with humour and music “Celery Night Fever” also teaches valuable lessons on friendship, forgiveness and God’s love.

Celery Park is about to be destroyed by the sinister Bruce Onion and it’s up to best friends Laura Carrot and Junior Asparagus to save it!  They come up with a plan. They hope to reunite the formerly famous Groovy Brothers to play at a fund-raising concert.  There is just one problem…a grudge has been festering between the band members for years and they have little interest in putting the band back together again which puts the fundraising efforts to save the park in jeopardy. If best friends can’t learn to forgive each other and accept each others faults then Celery Park may be lost forever! Can the band reunite to save the beloved Celery Park?

“Celery Night Fever” features 6 brand new songs that will have you groovin’ along with the Groovy Brothers. At the end of the DVD Bob and Larry share the bible verse Ephesians 4: 12 and take the time to explain what the Bible says about forgiveness in a way that even the youngest member of our family can understand.

My daughter is starting Kindergarten this year and will be making new friends.  It is important for her to learn how to love and accept her friends, faults and all.   As a mom I love how the creators of  “Celery Night Fever” take real life situations like the need to forgive a friend and teach your child how to deal with the situation in a way the is pleasing to God.  It’s important for my kids to understand that forgiveness is something that we all need to do, even if it isn’t easy. It also shows that being a good friend isn’t easy, sometime it takes consideration and sacrifice on our part.

“Celery Night Fever”  is a another great movie night movie for the entire family!  If you are looking to keep the fun going, visit the VeggieTales website for more games and activities to do with your little ones!

  1. I want to see Veggies in Space! Of all we’ve seen though, my favorite is the Pirates who don’t do anything!

  2. I would love the collector’s set “ALL THE SHOWS”. We are a Veggie Tales lovin’ household, but there are some we’ve missed. Our children never get tired of these fun characters.

  3. we are looking forward to watching the fennel frontier. we’ve had it for a few weeks now but due to some misbehavior they had lost the movie night privledges.
