The kids love to play games when we are out at the campground. We always have friends dropping by and finding a game that is suitable for everyone can be challenging. That is why we like to play the “Pellor Ring Toss Game”. It is perfect for players of all ages and skill levels.
The game comes with 1 game board, 13 hooks, 9 rubber rings and 1 plastic hook.
The board is made of solid wood and measures 11.5 inches with numbers 1 through 13 painted on it.
It is easy to assemble the game. There are 13 pre-drilled that you twist the 1.5 inch hooks into. Each hook needs to be facing upwards to catch the rings. This results in having hooks at slightly varying depths because of the nature of the hooks.
The game comes with a white hook with partially inserted nails. When I went to attach it to a tree, I hit it too hard with a hammer and cracked the white plastic. We just used another hook in its place.
The game doesn’t come with any instructions for gameplay, but it is pretty self-explanatory. The “Pellor Ring Toss” encourages all kinds of creative play. There are so many possibilities of games to play. I love that we can create our own games to play. I hope to create several math games to help the kids in school. We also plan on making our own scoresheets to keep with the games.
The 2.25-inch rubber rings can be difficult to land on the hooks. There is a certain element of skill and a lot of luck involved. The kids find that the closer they are the easier it is to land the rings.
The “Pellor Ring Toss” is a sturdy game, that is fun to play for all ages and skill levels.
