My daughter enjoys doing ‘grown-up’ chores around the house. When she was a toddler playing with toys like the “Best Pressed Ironing Board Set” helped her learn important life skills, like basic cleaning concepts and responsibility for her items. Now that she is older, she has taken these skills and applied them to her daily life as she helps us around the house.
The “Best Pressed Ironing Board Set” comes with a pretend iron with sound, ironing board and an ironing board cover.
The ironing board stands approximately 19 inches high. There is no height adjustment.
The board collapses for storage, just like a real ironing board. The locking mechanism is difficult for little fingers to operate and will require some adult assistance.
The polka-dot ironing board cover is removable and can be washed. It matches the design on the “Smart Cookie Chef’s Apron“. The cover is attached by two straps with tiny pieces of velcro. The straps are very difficult to attach securely and often come undone as the iron is used on the tabletop. Remove the cover to reveal a pink plastic top with hearts.
The iron is non-functional but mimics a real iron. There is a ready light that shows that the iron is ‘hot’. Press down on the iron to activate the ‘steam’ sounds. There are dials to twist and turn to set pretend temperature. The iron runs on 2 AAA batteries.
Battat toys are made free from BPA, Phthalate and lead. Each toy is 100% non-toxic and passes all USA, all Canadian, and European toxicity and safety tests.
The “Best Pressed Ironing Board Set” will help your little one learn good habits and that
