It has been over a year since we have gone out to the movies as a family. The kids have always loved going to the theatre, buying their favourite snacks and sitting down to watch a movie on the big screen. Since school was cancelled yesterday I thought it would be fun to have a family movie night and watch the new “Cubekins” together.

We curled up together with some popcorn and Skittles to watch “Cubekins Ep.01 – Invasion of the Cubecumbers“. In this 22 minute episode, Kip accidentally applies too much fertilizer to his father’s crop of cubecumbers. Kip and his family learn valuable life lessons while they find a way to deal with the abundant crop of cubecumbers.
I love that this show shares Christian values that are missing from so many shows. I like that it shows the family spending time in prayer together and eating at the table together. The show seamlessly introduces Bible verses to children in a non-denominational way, that makes it perfect to watch with friends.

Created by Brainy Pixel Productions, a Christian animation/production company out of North Alabama, “Cubekins” is a 3D animated show for children ages 3-8 that is about family, faith and fun! It is perfect for watching at home or during your children’s ministry programs.
“Cubekins” is available to buy or rent from the Cubekins website or other available streaming platforms. Check out their exclusive member content , like coloring books, bonus videos, and more by becoming a fan member at cubekins.com!
“Cubekins” teaches us all that God is always there no matter how dire the situation may seem. He may not always answer our prayers in the way that we expect, but he uses all things for his glory.
